Highland Buddhist Centre

We will offer short guided meditations to those who would like a taster of meditation or would like to sit quietly in a lovely space. We will take time to show people around the Buddhist Centre and give as much or as little information as visitors would like.
In relation to the 2024 theme 'Heritage of Routes, Networks and Connections, we will speak about how Buddhism has changed and adapted to western living and maintained the heart of the Buddha’s teachings. Highlighting that the Buddha’s teachings are as relevant today as ever, perhaps even more so. Also about how technology has improved access to meditation and Buddhist practice.

Additional Access Information
There is a quiet space and water bottles can be refilled here.
We do request that people take their shoes off once in the Buddhist Centre so they may like to bring slippers.
