In Person
Leighton Library has reopened this year after a 2 year restoration costing £400k+. Built in 1687 to house the books of Bishop Leighton for the clergy of Dunblane, it later became a subscription library. After closing in the mid-19th century, volunteers opened it as a visitor attraction in 1990. Visitors can ‘handle history’.
