Paisley - The Creative Hub - Brown's Lane
Renfrewshire
The Creative Hub is situated in the heart of Paisley in Brown’s Lane with its cobblestone road and surrounded by murals of Paisley's celebrated figures. Through the gates to the open yard, the old buildings house studios for artists and artisans: Restoration & Creation, Blackcat Upcyclers, , Gryffe Casting Studio, Unique Teak, artists Caroline Watson and Brian and Linda Kerr, Porcelain artist Kinda Zackry, and glass artist Amanda Farquhar-Scott. Brown’s Lane is named after Andrew Brown of Brown & Sharp manufacturers (1770) who acquired significant amounts of property around Shuttle St and New St.
During Doors Open Days weekend come and meet artists and makers, talk about their work and buy directly from them. The Creative Hub will also be hosting a Retro Market on the day. The hub is tucked away in Brown's Lane, a revitalised creative place, and there will be a display giving a bit of history about it.
