In Person

Paisley Central Library is a welcoming space located in the heart of Paisley town centre.

Glowing with knowledge and expertise, this modernised facility serves as a vital hub for Paisley's vibrant community, offering a range of unique services and support.

Following an impressive £7 million investment, the High Street building has undergone a complete internal remodelling across all four floors. The eye-catching ground and first-floor frontage beautifully complements the surroundings while preserving the historic features of the upper floors.

The interior design is modern, fresh, warm, and inviting. In addition to numerous cosy book nooks, there is a newly purpose-built children’s library with dedicated areas for reading, learning, and play. You can also relax in the quiet space on the new third-floor mezzanine or visit library’s dedicated digital suite, which offers free public IT access for everyone.
