Johnstone - Johnstone History Museum
Renfrewshire
In Person
Johnstone History Museum deals with the history of the burgh of Johnstone, particularly the industrial heritage of the town. Displays include photographs, maps and objects related to various well-known industries including Patons shoelace factory, as well as some lesser-known ones such as the mousetrap factory!
Our museum will be open with volunteer staff to facilitate visits, guide visitors and answer questions about the Museum, its displays or the history of Johnstone.
Displays within the museum will be refreshed in time for Doors Open Day to reflect the theme of this year's event, and a quiz with small prizes will be set up for visiting children.
