Moray
St Margaret’s Church is part of the Scottish Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Moray, Ross and Caithness. The building is Grade A listed with many fine architectural features. It was designed by Alexander Ross and was built between 1875 and 1879.
There is a historic link to the former Aberlour Orphanage which it was built to serve. Some of the orphanage records are kept in the church.
Members of the congregation will be in the church to welcome visitors and tell them about the building and its association with the Aberlour Orphanage. There will be vestments and other church items on display along with the church registers.
There is no requirement to book this venue in advance.

The church is a quiet space and visitors will be welcome to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Water bottles can be filled.
