Johnstons of Elgin invite you to join them in an immersive experience at their Elgin mill, where this family business has worked with natural, renewable, biodegradable fibres since 1797.
Discover some of the thirty processes involved in crafting a single scarf and learn more about the families that have shaped the business over the decades. You will learn about the processes behind their luxurious Cashmere and Merino Wool designs, from raw fibre to finished product. This immersive, 1-hour, guided experience also explores their rich, Scottish heritage.
The Discovery Experience Tour runs hourly from 9am to 4pm and tours must be booked in advance.
The retail store is open to all from 9am to 5.30pm.
Weavers Restaurant is open from 9am to 5pm, offering light meals and home-bakes throughout the day.
