Elgin Museum

Elgin Museum is Scotland's oldest continuously independent museum, and opened to visitors for the first time in October 1843. Don't miss this opportunity to take a 50 minute behind the scenes tour of the museum stores, which are not normally open to the public.
'Behind the Scenes at Elgin Museum - store tours' begin at 10:30am and 11:30am. Spaces must be booked in advance by visiting the 'What's On' page on the Museum website.
Also on offer this year is the 'Elgin Museum building tour - inside and out: history and future plans' which begins at 4pm. Spaces must be booked in advance by visiting the 'What's On' page on the Museum website.
The museum will be open to visitors as usual from 1pm to 4pm (last entry 3:30pm).
