Wemyss Bay Station was completed in 1903 by the Caledonian Railway as an interchange between trains and steamers. Designed by architect James Miller and engineer Donald Matheson it is an outstanding building with its dramatic semi-circular concourse, curved pier and attractive main building. It is listed Category A.
For Doors Open Days there will be guided tours of the station at 11am, 12 noon, 2pm, and 3pm with details of the station's history and its architectural and engineering features. Tour begins from the Station Bookshop.
