Northern Meeting Park Story-gathering Project

New

7 September 2024 (10:30 - 12:30)

Highland – Inverness, Black Isle, Easter Ross, Ross & Cromarty

In Person

The Northern Meeting Park Story-gathering Project is a community heritage project, run by High Life Highland and the Highland Council with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. It aims to work with the local community to research the history of the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness, to collect people’s stories about it, and to produce new interpretation using the material we gather which will be completed in time for the official re-opening of the Park in spring 2025.

Come along and enjoy our small pop-up exhibition about the history of the Northern Meeting Park. If you have any special memories of the Park, or stories about it, we would
love to hear them.

This drop-in event in taking place in the Highland Archive Centre which is also running tours for Doors Open Days on the same day – so why not enjoy both?
