The Premonstratensian Monastery at Fearn Abbey was established in 1238, after nearly 800 years of worship on the site, the church is now closed. This grade A-listed building is of great historical interest and the attached cemetery contain a number of interesting stones. 

For Doors Open Days there will be quiz for children, information about Peter Fraser, the wartime Prime Minister of New Zealand who was brought up in Hill of Fearn, and an exhibition on the history of Fearn Abbey. 

There will be guided tours at 11am and 2pm. Meeting in the Abbey.
