The Lifeboat Shed - The Wick Society
Highland – Caithness & Sutherland
In Person
The Lifeboat Station at Wick was built in 1915 and for many years served as the launch site of the Wick lifeboat. The building is now the winter home of the Isabella Fortuna, a traditional Scottish fishing "Fifie". She was acquired by the Wick Society in 1997. Continual restoration and upkeep is carried out by a dedicated team of volunteers.
This Doors Open Day, you are invited to see inside to explore an aspect of the Society’s work not normally seen by the public.
