Haddo House
Aberdeenshire
Haddo House is an 18th Century Palladian style mansion house and was the ancestral home of the Earls and Marquesses of Aberdeen and Temair for over 200 years. The Georgian exterior was designed by William Adam and its beautiful Victorian interior was part of the extensive renovations from the 1880’s. From the stunning chapel to bedrooms fit for a queen, Haddo House should be on every traveller’s “must see” list.
Doors Open Days offers a rare opportunity to come and see the ancestral home of the Earls/Marquesses of Aberdeen and Temair at your own pace with guides ready to answer any questions you have.
There will be a small demonstration by our Collections Assistant and children’s activities to keep the little ones entertained while you look at the beautiful Victorian interior.
We will be open for free entry for this weekend only.
