Clashindarroch Wind Farm

Clashindarroch is an 18 turbine onshore wind farm located near Huntly in Aberdeenshire owned and run by Vattenfall UK. Clashindarroch has been in operation for over 8 years and powers about 27,000 homes annually. It also has a successful community benefit scheme, run by local people with support from Foundation Scotland which has distributed over 1.9m to local communities so far.
Bussed tours up to the wind farm will be running from Cabrach Heritage and Distillery, The Acorn Centre, The Cabrach Trust, Inverharroch, Lower Cabrach, AB54 4EU. There will be information at the venue about community benefits and Clashindarroch wind farm. Refreshments provided.
