Aboyne-Dinnet Church

Visitors to Aboyne-Dinnet Church will be offered a rare opportunity to gain entry to the secret vault located below the original church which is usually kept locked. The church was constructed in 1842 on the site of the original church which was erected in 1761. The church is listed Category B.

The church will also be hosting a display on the Church of Scotland and the history of Aboyne-Dinnet Church. In the Sanctuary, a video will be shown about the refurbishment of the church in 2007, and the more recent refurbishment of the Church Bell will be illustrated with a photographic display.

Refreshments and biscuits will be served for a small donation. Children’s activity table: drawings & table tennis.
