It is the home base for many local groups and organisations. The church is the location of five War memorials, and was the home church of the Gordon Highlanders. It is one of the few churches in Scotland to have two women commemorated on its war memorials. It is also unusual in having a communion table which is an official Commonwealth War Graves memorial.
