The Sir Duncan Rice Library

The Sir Duncan Rice Library was opened by HM The Queen in September 2012. Designed by Danish architects Schmidt Hammer Lasse. Its eight floors house the largest of the University's modern collections including Arts, Humanities, Sciences, Social Sciences, historic collections of rare books, manuscripts and archives. Library will be open 9am - 10pm.
- Collections Close up: Aberdeen in Africa, Africa in Aberdeen (7th Floor) - 10am - 2pm.
- Exhibition: Striking Impressions (Ground Floor) - 10am - 5pm.
- Old Aberdeen Library 10am - 5pm where a bookbug session will take place. Booking required for Bookbug only.
