Aberdeen Mosque and Islamic Centre (AMIC)

AMIC is a place for Muslims to worship and perform daily prayers, in a congregation, weekly Friday prayers and Eid celebrations. It is also being used as an education centre and for other community activities such as weddings, lectures, Muslim and non-Muslim seminars and lady's events. It opened on 25 March 2022. The charity has been serving the Muslims and wider community for over four decades.
AMIC not only focuses on Islamic activities like prayers and education but also actively promotes harmony among different communities, conducts social, cultural, and community projects, and engages in local social concerns to benefit the wider community. Activities include a guided tour, Imam Q&A session, Quran listening, try hijab stall, Arabic calligraphy and refreshments.
