PAISLEY FOUNTAIN GARDENS (Renfrewshire)
Open for Doors Open Days on Saturday 7th September, 10am-4pm.
Home to not only a grand standing fountain adorned with dolphin sculptures but also one of the finest statues of Robert Burns in existence!

BIGGAR PUPPET THEATRE (South Lanarkshire)
Open for Doors Open Days on Saturday 7th September, 10am-3.30pm.

SORBIE TOWER (Dumfries and Galloway)
Be a guest of Clan Hannay for the day! Take a tour of the tower and grounds including our 12th century motte, see the kitchen fire in operation and hear how life was lived on this ancient site, hear about our future plans for restoration. See an exhibition and models, armour display and re-enactment by The Douglas Retinue on both days. At Sorbie Tower, the sights and sounds of medieval Scotland are brought to life
LITTLE SPARTA (South Lanarkshire)
Developed on a Pentland Hills steading, Little Sparta - the garden of Ian Hamilton Finlay - has been described as 'the only really original garden made in this country since 1945'. The garden displays numerous sculptures and artworks created by Finlay in collaboration with stone carvers, letterers and other artists and poets. The sculptures explore themes as diverse as the sea and its fishing fleets, our relationship to nature, classical antiquity, the French Revolution and the Second World War.
INNERPEFFRAY LIBRARY (Perth & Kinross)
In addition to opening their doors for free, the library will join in the Doors Open Days 30 celebrations with the launch of their new riverside heritage walk. The library will also welcome a botanical artist from Perthshire Open Studios into their newly refurbished old schoolhouse for the whole week! The library will also be putting on activities, market stalls, Roman Camp, hog roast and guided tours.
